Kata von Seisho Aragaki. Aragaki lebte in dem Ort Niigaki. Die bekannten Karate Kata Sochin, Niseishi und Unshu stammen aus der Aragaki Schule. Aragaki lernte die Kampfkünste direkt in China. Einige seiner bekanntesten Schüler waren Kanryo Higashionna und Kenwa Mabuni.

The Kata is made by Seisho Aragaki. Aragaki did live in the village Niigaki. The well known Karate Kata Sochin, Niseishi and Unshu are from the Aragaki school. Aragaki did learn the Martial Arts directly in China. Some of his famous students was Kanryo Higashionna and Kenwa Mabuni.

Eine sehr lange und hoch entwickelte Kata. Die Kata stammt von Chinen Shichiyanaka der ein Schüler von Meister Soeishi war. Die Kata ist auch unter dem Namen Chinen Shitahaku no Kon bekannt.
Sie enthält einige Spezialitäten die die Nutzung des Untergrunds in den Kampf einbinden. Dabei wird das Bo benutzt um Sand und Erde ins Gesicht des Gegners zu schleudern. Diese Technik ist als Bunkai in Sporthallen jedoch eher schlecht trainierbar.

A very long and most advanced Kata. The founder of the Kata is Chinen Shichyanaka who was a student of master Soeishi. The Kata is also known under the name Chinen Shitahaku no Kon.
She includes some specialities which are using the ground for combat. There the bo will be used for to throw sand into the face of the opponent. But this technique is as a Bunkai done in a sportshall not usuable.

Matsuhiga no Kon is an older Kata from the 18th. century. The founder is the master Matsu Higa. He was an expert of Kobudo and security guard of the King.

Die Kata wurde von Yoshitaka Funakoshi entwickelt. Der Sohn von Gichin Funakoshi, der auch die Kata Sochin schuf, war demnach auch ein Experte des Kobudo. Obwohl das Kobudo offiziell kein Bestandteil des Shotokan ist, waren Gichin Funakoshi und auch sein Sohn Meister des Kobudo

This Kata has been created by Yoshitaka Funakoshi. The son of Gichin Funakoshi, who also did create the Shotokan Kata Sochin. So Yoshitaka was also an expert of the Kobudo. Though the Kobudo isn't a part of the Shotokan style Gichin Funakoshi as well as his son Yoshitaka has been masters of Kobudo

Sokon Matsumura, der Lehrer von Itosu, war einer der größten Meister des Karate und Kobudo in Shuri, der damaligen Hauptstadt Okinawas. Er war auch Ausbilder der königlichen Leibwache. Die Schule von Matsumura ist stark beeinflußt von Stil des Weißen Kranich. Seine Version der Karate Kata Patsai gilt als höchstentwickelte Form. Und auch die Matsumura no Kon gilt als Kata von hohem technischen Niveau.

Sokon Matsumura, who was the teacher of Itosu, was one of the most famous masters of Karate and Kobudo in Shuri, the former capital city of Okinawa. He also did the education of the kings security guard. The school of Matsumura has mainly influenced by the white crane style. His version of Kata Patsai is known as the most advanced one. And also this Matsumura no Kon is known as a Kata with highly technical level.

Eine alte Kata, die von Meister Miyazato überliefert wurde. Miyazato lebte im 18. Jahrhundert und lernte die Kampfkünste direkt in China.

This is a very old Kata which was handed down by master Miyazato. Miyazato did live in the 18th. century and did learn the Art of Kobudo directly in China.

Shuguro Nakazato ist Begründer dieser Kata. Nakazato wurde 1921 geboren und ist Großmeister des Kobayashi Shorin-Ryu.  Er war Schüler von Chosin Chibana dem Begründer des Kobayashi Shorin-Ryu

Auch Ufugussuku no Kon genannt geht diese Kata auf den okinawanischen Kampfkunstmeister Kanagusuku Ufuchiku zurück. Die Kata ist sehr fundamental. Dabei können die Techniken ihn einer einfachen Grundform, aber auch in sehr hoher anspruchsvoller Form ausgeführt werden.

This Kata has also the name Ufugussuku no Kon and was handed down by Kanagusuku Ufuchiku one of the famous grand master of Kobudo. The Kata is very fundamental. But the techniques can be done in basic form as well as in advanced form.

Eine sehr interessante und wahrscheinlich sehr alte Kata. Ihr Hauptmerkmal ist eine technische Kombination die insgesamt 5 mal wiederholt wird. Interessant ist auch der Beginn der Kata, wo in der älteren Version das Bo auf der rechten Schulter liegend, getragen wird.
